DeSantis Would Be Employed At A Law Firm Or Pizza Shop If Not For My Endorsement | Donald Trump
Former President Donald Trump claimed that Ron DeSantis asked for assistance to win Florida’s governor’s race “with tears in his eyes” and that if it weren’t for him, DeSantis would be working in a “pizza shop” in a highly publicized Hannity interview on Monday night.
When Sean Hannity of Fox said, “The question I get asked the most about you is, ‘Ron DeSantis – what happened?’,” the remark was made. I believed they were pals. As a response to DeSantis gaining his support in the 2018 Florida governor’s race, Trump implied that DeSantis wasn’t “faithful.”
DeSantis, who was a congressman at the time, was “so behind” his rival, who “was already ordering furniture for the governor’s office,” according to Trump, in the primary fight.
“I said Ron, “Let’s try it, ok?'” And he was in a tight spot,” Trump said to Hannity. “I offered him a glowing recommendation. You write out what you’d like, and then show it to me, I said. I felt it was bad when he typed it out, so I modified it and made it fantastic. I gave him a glowing recommendation. He immediately outclassed that man once I clicked that button. The contest was over. They were never even allowed to use their funds.
Trump added, “I got him the nomination. He could never have received the nomination, by the way. Right now, he would be employed in a legal firm or a pizzeria, and he wouldn’t be very pleased. DeSantis is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Yale University.
When asked if he will run for president in 2024, the governor remained silent, prompting Trump to claim that DeSantis failed the loyalty test.
“When you genuinely help someone, and then he declares that he will ultimately run against you. Yet, he is currently trailing in the polls, the man claimed.
For the record, DeSantis has not declared whether or not he would run for president in 2024, despite the fact that many see him as Trump’s main rival. Trump has been criticizing the governor of Florida on Truth Social, and his most recent slur was to call him “Ron Dukakis,” a reference to Michael Dukakis, the unsuccessful 1988 Democratic candidate for president.
This week, Trump also disparaged DeSantis, calling him a “groomer” of minors or even perhaps gay. The remarks and nicknames like “Ron DeSanctimonious” and “Meatball Ron” have generally been laughed aside by DeSantis.
“I have no idea what goes into paying a porn actor hush money or obtaining silence throughout the purported affair. When asked about Trump’s current legal issues by reporters on Monday, DeSantis responded, “I just, I can’t answer to that.
