WATCH: Megyn Kelly Snaps Back At Charlize Theron For Defending Children’s Drag Shows – ‘Come And F*ck Me Up’
On her Friday show, Megyn Kelly fired back at Charlize Theron after the actor who portrays Kelly in ‘Bombshells’ made a comment threatening to “f*ck anyone up” who is against drag queens performing in front of children.
The former Fox News host reacted to a now-viral clip of Theron during a telethon defending drag queens and drag culture, as reported by the New York Post.
“I will f*ck anybody up who is, like, trying to f*ck with anything with” drag queens, Theron threatened during the telethon, named ‘Drag Isn’t Dangerous’ which managed to somehow raise over $500,000.
Kelly did not take kindly to the comments made by the actor, responding with, “Okay, so why doesn’t Charlize Theron come and f*ck me up? Because I’m 100% against her on this.”
Kelly did bring up the odd situation between her and the star, stating “Obviously I don’t know [Theron], but I feel like I have some weird connection with this person because she played me in a movie.”
Kelly brought up the concerns with child grooming that these shows can present but also noted that Theron had a child who identified as a transsexual. Kelly noted that Theron made a mistake in not coming out against the “grooming of young children” and instead supporting the practice.
Kelly noted her personal experience attending drag shows, saying “Yes, there are fun drag queen shows. I’ve been to them.” Kelly, however, noted that the shows “[were] all adults” and they’re not for children
“But there are drag queen shows out there right now that are deeply disturbing and they’re happening in front of young children,” Kelly stated bluntly. “So know what you’re supporting.”
Drag shows have been a hot topic for many people in recent times. The fetish show is seen as a way of expression for members of the LGBTQ community, but its perverse nature makes it entirely unjust to attempt to justify the inclusion of children. In the same way you wouldn’t bring a child to a gentlemen’s club, you wouldn’t bring a child to a drag show.
But ignoring what would seem to be common sense, the grooming community has insisted that it’s okay not just to perform these acts in front of kids, but it is also good to perform them specifically for children. They attempt to deflect the criticisms to a clearly immoral act behind the guise of homophobia but if homophobia is not wanting fetishes to be on front display for children, much of this nation would be homophobic.
