If Ron DeSantis could go back in time just a short while ago, I can’t help but feel like he’d think twice about throwing his hat in the 2024 presidential republican primary.
To put it as nicely as possible, things have not gone well for DeSantis…
In Turning Point USA’s straw poll, President Trump won with a dominating 85% of the vote!
That’s honestly not a surprise, but what is a surprise is who came in second place.
Nope, it wasn’t Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
It wasn’t even former vice president Mike Pence.
It was Vivek Ramaswamy!
Vivek beat all the big names that weren’t named Donald Trump.
Maybe it’s time for DeSantis to go back home and be governor…

President Trump won the Turning Point USA straw poll with 85% of the vote, Charlie Kirk announced on Sunday.
Vivek Ramaswamy won second place and polled ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
“I don’t think it’s a huge surprise, but the winner of the straw poll with 85% is… Donald J. Trump is the winner of the Turning Point Action straw poll,” Charlie Kirk said.

As Charlie Kirk said, it’s really no surprise that President Trump won.
However, Florida governor Ron DeSantis has got to be disappointed with his showing.
