Get caught literally committing treason against your country (oh, sorry — “alllllllegedly”) and what game plan do you run?
Easy!
The same game plan Democrats run every time.
You play the victim and you start spewing a story that is 180 degrees from the truth.
You shout that story over and over and over.
You say it loud and often.
Even bring lawsuits into play when you can to reinforce the lie.
Your hope is that you make the lie so big and repeated so often that it eventually just becomes accepted as the truth.

John Solomon reports:
Hunter Biden on Monday sued the Internal Revenue Service for the alleged “unlawful disclosure” of his private tax information in a lawsuit that targets IRS whistleblowers who said the Justice Department interfered with their tax probe of the first son.
“While Mr. Biden has been the victim of various leaks regarding the IRS investigation previously, most recently, two IRS agents – Mr. Gary Shapley and Mr. Joseph Ziegler – and their attorneys raised the stakes to unprecedented levels with their numerous public appearances and statements,” the 27-page lawsuit states.
The lawsuit states that Ziegler, Shapley and their attorneys “have targeted and sought to embarrass Mr. Biden via public statements to the media in which they and their representatives disclosed confidential information about a private citizen’s tax matters.”
The lawsuit only names the IRS – not Ziegler, Shapley or their legal representatives – and it alleges that the IRS violated two U.S. laws related to privacy.
Biden is demanding damages of “$1,000 per each act of unauthorized disclosure,” the lawsuit states.
The lawsuit states that Shapley, Zeigler and their representatives “chose to publicly disclose the confidential return information during interviews with national media outlets, including Fox News, CNN, CBS News, John Solomon Reports, and the Megyn Kelly Show, with the intent that these national media outlets would widely publish the information through its nationally and internationally televised news network, website and other means.”
Meanwhile, sometimes you just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all, and for that I credit the Babylon Bee who really nailed it with this one:
WASHINGTON, DC — Amid a House impeachment inquiry and increasing questions about bribery and extortion involving Hunter Biden, the White House reminded the press that there’s not any direct evidence that Hunter Biden actually exists.
“When you think about it, there’s not really any conclusive proof that this ‘Hunter’ guy is even real,” said historic, gay, black Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to reporters. “Have any of you even seen him in person? Have you actually physically touched him? For all we know, Hunter is just a figment of the GOP’s wild and fevered imaginations. It’s sad, really.”
The gathered journalists murmured and nodded in agreement at Jean-Pierre’s excellent point.
“It’s a shame we didn’t start questioning the notion of this ‘Hunter Biden’ fiction a long time ago,” said Meet The Press anchor Chuck Todd. “How could we have been so blind to the deep deception of the far-right? The whole thing was a hoax! This is an attack on democracy.”
Journalists have begun to pull all their Hunter Biden stories pending further investigation into the matter. “Once we have investigated the GOP’s deception around the existence of this alleged ‘Hunter’ character, we will update you on that story,” said Jake Tapper. “Stay tuned for an update in 5 or 6 years.”
