Maria Bartiromo: “You Didn’t Drain The Swamp Like You Said You Would”
I want to preface this by saying I like Maria Bartiromo.
I think she’s one of the last true journalists out there.
And being a good journalist means you sometimes ask the tough questions.
So I have no problem with these questions.
They are good questions.
And Trump’s response is better.
That’s how you do it.
You ask fair and direct questions and then you let the person answer.
This is how journalism used to be.
Trump’s answer was perfect, and I also loved how he said “17 times” and Maria stops and giggles as if she knows exactly what that means.
I think she does.
