MTG Reintroduces Censure Resolution Against Terrorist Sympathizer Rashida Tlaib
Marjorie Taylor Greene has reintroduced a censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib for her language used against Israel.
In a Tweet made by Tlaib, she quoted a phrase that calls for the destruction of Israel.
Check it out here:
From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate. My work and advocacy is always centered in justice and dignity for all people no matter faith or ethnicity.

The phrase “from the river to the sea” is something Palestinians say regarding Palestine taking control of Israel, resulting in its destruction.
Tlaib tries to play it off like a positive message, but it’s not at all.
MTG attempted to censure Tlaib previously, but many Republicans refused to condemn Tlaib.
Here is the list of Republicans who either didn’t vote or voted against the censure:
Republicans who voted against the censure:
- Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI)
- Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY)
- Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND)
- Rep. Max Miller (R-OH)
- Rep. John Duarte (R-CA)
- Rep. John Moolenaar (R-MI)
- Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI)
- Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)

This was before Tlaib made the comments about the destruction of Israel, so we will have to see if these Republicans flip.

Fox News shares how Rep. Gimenez feels about Talib’s comments:
Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., discussed Republicans’ push to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., for her ‘unacceptable’ Israel rhetoric on Fox News on Tuesday.
Gimenez argued that Tlaib’s statement had crossed a line when she defended using “from the river to the sea” in her statement supporting Palestinians. Stating that Palestinians should have a state “from the river to the sea” refers to the Jordan river to the East and the Mediterranean Sea to the West.
The language that Tlaib continues to use is dangerous and can incite violence within her radical following.
CBS News shares more on MTG’s censure resolution against Tlaib:
Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Rich McCormick, who both represent Georgia, introduced separate resolutions on Monday seeking to censure Tlaib for what they called her “antisemitic” remarks. Greene and McCormick introduced the resolutions as “privileged,” a procedural maneuver that forces a vote on the matter within two legislative days.
A similar push led by Greene failed last week when the House voted against moving forward on censuring the Michigan Democrat, with 23 Republicans joining all Democrats in voting the table the measure.
The second attempt to punish Tlaib, the House’s only Palestinian American, comes after her defense of a slogan that is seen by Jewish people as arguing for the elimination of Israel as a Jewish state.
Tlaib posted a video on X on Friday that included footage of protesters in Michigan chanting “from the river to the sea.” The Anti-Defamation League says the full slogan — “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” — is an “antisemitic slogan commonly featured in anti-Israel campaigns and chanted at demonstrations.”
Voting the RINOs out of office can not come soon enough.
We need strong Republicans who will quickly vote on legislation like the censure of Tlaib.
