ODD 5 WORDS FBI AGENT SAID WHILE VISITING MAR-A-LAGO 2 MONTHS BEFORE RAID

Prior to the August 8 raid on Mar-a-Lago, FBI agents visited the club and house of former President Donald Trump to gather classified materials.

This was disclosed in a recent suit filed by the former president in response to the raid. Argumentating that the confiscated papers were protected by presidential privilege, the request demanded that federal investigators cease examining them until a “special master” be appointed to investigate them.

After receiving the records on June 3, an FBI agent reportedly stated to Trump’s team, “Now it all makes sense,” according to the legal motion.

Former President Trump’… by The Western Journal

Trump’s motion outlined a sequence of events leading up to the FBI raid beginning on January 20, 2021, the day he and his family returned to Mar-a-Lago after leaving the White House.

After Trump and his crew made the move “on a condensed timeframe,” National Archives personnel expressed fear that the former president may have mistakenly taken classified materials with him. In January, Trump phoned the Archives and requested that agency movers collect 15 boxes of papers.

Later, the former president realized that a search of his estate may be required to locate further records and invited DOJ Security Division Chief Jay Bratt to his residence to gather the materials. Bratt was accompanied by three FBI agents.

Prior to the search, former President Trump reportedly urged the agents, “Whatever you need, just let us know.”

After Trump provided the needed documents to Bratt, the DOJ official sought and was granted permission to examine a storage room.

Then, one of the FBI officers made a peculiar comment.

“Thank you. You did not need to show us the storage room, but we appreciate it. Now it all makes sense,” the agent said.

Bratt later asked Trump to secure the storage room, prompting Trump to direct his staff to do so.

Two months later, on Aug. 8, FBI agents arrived at Mar-a-Lago to conduct their unannounced raid.

Thanks to documents obtained by Just the News, we now have some insight into what the other side — officials from within the federal government — was planning during roughly the same time period.
