The 18-year-old son of Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado was arrested on Tuesday on 22 charges.
Boebert was arrested after being connected to a string of “vehicle trespass and property thefts” in Rifle, Colorado.
Tyler Boebert faces several felony counts of criminal possession of ID documents, conspiracy to commit a felony, and several miss misdemeanors.

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s 18-year-old son, Tyler Boebert, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and is facing 22 charges, including several felony charges relating to a string of crimes in her Colorado district.
The Rifle Police Department said in a Facebook post that the 18-year-old Boebert was arrested after a “recent string of vehicle trespass and property thefts” in Rifle, a town in Colorado’s 3rd congressional district.
According to Garfield County Jail’s records, Tyler Boebert is facing four counts of criminal possession of a financial device, four counts of criminal possession of ID documents, and a count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
He’s also charged with four misdemeanor counts of ID theft, three misdemeanor counts of first-degree criminal trespass, and three misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The 18-year-old son of Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., was arrested Tuesday after a “recent string of vehicle trespass and property thefts” in Rifle, Colorado, according to police.
Tyler Jay Boebert faces felony counts of criminal possession of identification documents, conspiracy to commit a felony, and more than 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses, the Rifle Police Department said in a Facebook post.
“This is an ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time,” the post said. “All suspects are considered innocent until adjudicated guilty in a court of law.”
As of Wednesday morning, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office listed Tyler Boebert as an inmate in the county jail with no bond amount or release date set.
