Biden Spokesman Fits ‘Bloodbath’ And ‘Very Fine People’ Hoaxes In One Sentence

While chatting with former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki, Biden Campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler managed to reference two debunked media hoaxes — the “very fine people” lie that emerged after the Charlottesville protests and the more recent “bloodbath” hoax — in one sentence.

“What I heard was a continuation of the same rhetoric, the same endorsement of political violence that we’ve seen from Donald Trump for years, as you pointed out,” Tyler said in reference to the deceptively edited “bloodbath” comment.

Both left-wing politicians and aligned media outlets have fixated on a selectively edited clip of former President Trump’s Dayton, Ohio rally where he stated that another Biden term would lead to a “bloodbath” for the auto industry. While Trump spoke for over a minute, bad faith actors have zeroed in on a 17-second snippet of the former president’s quote to claim that he was endorsing violence.

The lie has been repeated by a number of mainstream media outlets such as Politico, the New York Times, the Washington Post and others, while a number of elected Democrats such as Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have said the same.

Not satisfied with mentioning one hoax, Tyler managed to cram the “very fine people” hoax within the same sentence. “It goes even farther back, right? This is the same guy who, after Nazis marched on Charlottesville and killed a woman, said there were very fine people on both sides,” he said.

The quote was in reference to the lie that Trump called Nazis and other extremists “very fine people” in the wake of the Charlottesville riot, a lie referenced by Joe Biden when he announced his candidacy.

During his remarks in the wake of the rally and subsequent violence, then-President Trump repeatedly condemned extremists, stating that they need to be “condemned totally.”

He also noted that some people were simply there to protest the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee and did not engage in any violence, nor did they have affiliation with any extremist groups. In addition, he pointed out that far-left activists were present and engaged in violence themselves, which was well documented but largely ignored by mainstream media outlets.

Despite the transcript painting an entirely different picture, the Biden Administration has continued to double down on the lie throughout the duration of the president’s term.

The official Biden Campaign account on X has continued to do so by sharing Perry’s appearance on Psaki’s show.

Psaki, for her part, continued to double down on the bloodbath hoax throughout the rest of the program.

“Well, if they want us to consider the full context, let’s do just that. Because the full context is that Trump kicked off the same exact rally by saluting the people who were convicted for the deadly assault on the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, all to the tune of the national anthem sung by a choir of imprisoned insurrectionists,” the left-wing propagandist ranted. “The full context is that some of the first words out of Trump’s mouth last night, same rally, were thanking those rioters and calling them patriots. The full context is that he also said in this same rally, if this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.”

“This is what Donald Trump has been preaching for years,” Psaki continued, completely ignoring the rest of the quote.
