Share

Dr. Ben Carson has always been two things: (1) incredibly smart, and (2) a class act.

And those two characteristics were on full display today as he took to the microphone at President Trump’s Rally in Iowa to give President Trump his full endorsement.

It’s 8 of the best minutes you’ll spend today watching.

Here you go:

Shorter version:

Today instantly reminded me of 7 years ago in 2016.

Do you remember this moment?

I have NEVER forgotten this moment….

In 2016 at an early debate, NBC forgot to call Ben Carson’s name.

The other candidates blew past him, but when Trump’s name was called instead of going to the debate stage, Trump remained with Carson until they called his name.

Historic moment.

Today Dr. Carson returns the favor and stands by Trump. ❤️🙌

Dr. Carson himself posted this before taking the stage:

And this:

Trump is racking up a LOT of big name endorsements this week….

Here was the prior one:

ANOTHER Republican Presidential Candidate DROPS Out, Endorses Trump!

Republican Presidential Candidate Larry Elder has officially dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.

In an official statement Elder stated “As I look at the path forward, and after careful consideration and consultation with my campaign team, I have made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign.”

After dropping out Elder endorsed Trump.

Take a look:

Per The Hill:

Republican presidential candidate Larry Elder is suspending his 2024 campaign for the White House and has endorsed former President Trump for the party nominee.

“As I look at the path forward, and after careful consideration and consultation with my campaign team, I have made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign,” Elder said in a statement announcing the end of his campaign.

“Now that I am exiting the race,” he continued. “I am proud to announce my endorsement of Donald Trump for President of the United States.”
The conservative radio host jumped into the GOP primary with his longshot bid in April, citing a “moral, religious, and a patriotic duty” to run for the Oval Office.

Elder had expressed optimism in August about getting on the GOP’s first presidential primary debate stage, but he failed to meet the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) polling and donor thresholds to qualify to join his fellow candidates.

Here’s what AP reported:

Conservative talk radio host Larry Elder announced Thursday that he was ending his 2024 Republican campaign for president and endorsing former President Donald Trump.

Elder, who sought to replace California Gov. Gavin Newsom in a failed 2021 recall effort, said in a statement that he had made the “difficult decision” to end his bid after “careful consideration and consultation” with his team and to throw his support behind Trump. Trump’s leadership, he said, was “instrumental in advancing conservative America-first principles and policies that have benefited our great nation.”

He said now was the time to unite behind Trump to beat President Joe Biden. He also said he hoped his campaign had shined a light on the issues important to him, including fatherlessness, fighting crime and opposition to the idea that the U.S. is a racist country.

Elder is the fourth major candidate to suspend or end his 2024 GOP bid, following Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, former Texas congressman Will Hurd and businessman Perry Johnson. Johnson also backed Trump on his way out of the race, while Hurd endorsed former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.
