BREAKING: Attorney General Merrick Garland SUBPOENAED

Share

The House Oversight Committee has issued a subpoena to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Congressional investigators are seeking all materials related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s classified documents case.

Hur essentially found Biden to have committed no wrongdoing due to his feeble memory and his age—which just raises more questions about Joe Biden’s fitness to lead this country.

Garland’s DOJ has been particularly moot on Biden’s numerous scandals, and it is clear that the DOJ is providing cover for America’s Resident-in-Chief.

The House Judiciary GOP announced on Tuesday: “Jim Jordan and Rep. James Comer subpoena Attorney General Merrick Garland for records, including transcripts, notes, video, and audio files, related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation of President Joe Biden’s willful mishandling of classified information.”

News Nation had more on the story:

In a letter accompanying the subpoena, lawmakers said they were specifically investigating whether Biden retained documents related to countries his family members did business with and whether Biden’s attorneys limited the scope of questions that would have prevented Hur from asking about statements linking Biden to alleged foreign payments.

News Nation’s Joe Khalil noted the timing of the subpoena: “That’s the same day POTUS is set to deliver State of the Union address.”

Vanity Fair claimed:

Many of the president’s top advisers believe the AG would be unlikely to keep his job in a potential second term.

In addition to reportedly believing that Garland only appointed a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden due to outside pressure, Biden has recently “grumbled to aides and advisers that had Garland moved sooner in his investigation into former president Donald Trump’s election interference, a trial may already be underway or even have concluded,” according to two individuals familiar with the matter.
