WATCH: Former CIA-Agent Booed Off Stage for Saying Trump Is Only Running to Stay Out of Jail

Share

Roll up, roll up, ladies and gentlemen, to witness the latest episode of ‘Who’s Going to Sink the Republican Party This Week?’

Today’s guest star: former Texas Congressman and former CIA agent, Will Hurd.

A man who seems to have swapped his cowboy boots for a pair of steel-tipped party dividers.

Picture this: Hurd strides up to the podium at the Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Dinner.

You’d think he was there to rally the troops, get everyone on the same page, right?

Wrong.

He starts to unload on none other than former President Donald Trump.

Now, it’s one thing to have differing opinions, but to accuse Trump of running for President just to stay out of prison?

Boo!

The icing on this political farce?

Hurd claims that re-electing Trump is equivalent to “willingly giving Joe Biden four more years in the White House.”

Hurd, my man, are you secretly working for the other side?

Because if your mission was to divide and conquer, you’re doing a darn good job.

The good news?

The crowd disagreed so much that they booed him off stage!

Hurd had to stop his speech early because he was humiliated by all the booing.

Watch the stunning moment below:

Will Hurd is trash and deserved to get booed off the stage in Iowa…

GTFOH!

Folks, instead of indulging in such melodramatic theatrics, let’s rally around Trump.

It’s clear he’s the victim of political persecution.

And as the GOP, we need to stand together, not let naysayers like Hurd pull us apart.

Is that too much to ask?

Apparently so. In the wild circus of politics, it seems anything goes.

But, hey, that’s why we love it, right?

Fox News confirms that Hurd was booed off stage:

Republican presidential candidate and former Texas Congressman Will Hurd was booed off the stage at a campaign event in Iowa on Friday after he began railing against former President Donald Trump.

The instance occurred at the end of Hurd’s speech at the Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Dinner in Des Moines when he declared Trump was running for president “to stay out of prison,” rather than to “make America great again.”

“The reason Donald Trump lost the election in 2020 is he failed to grow the GOP brand in areas like women with a college degree in the suburbs, Black and Brown communities, and people under the age of 35,” Hurd said as he began laying into Trump.

“One of the things we need in our elected leaders is for them to speak the truth, even if it’s unpopular. Donald Trump is not running for president to make America great again. Donald Trump is not running for president to represent the people that voted for him in 2016 and 2020. Donald Trump is running to stay out of prison,” he said.

The crowd erupted in boos, causing Hurd to have to pause his speech.

“I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. Listen, I know the truth – the truth is hard,” he said as the boos continued. “But if we elect Donald Trump, we are willingly giving Joe Biden four more years in the White House and America can’t handle that.”

And now, for the cherry on top of this already ludicrous sundae. Will Hurd isn’t just a party-pooper former congressman.

No, ladies and gents, he’s also an alumni of the cloak-and-dagger club, the Central Intelligence Agency.

Yes, you heard it right: the CIA.

Now, don’t get me wrong, we need our spooks.

They’re crucial for national security.

But given the recent conduct of our intelligence agencies under the Biden regime, you’d be forgiven for thinking they’re more interested in ‘intelligence’ about conservatives than protecting our nation from real threats.

So here we have Hurd, a former spook, sauntering onto the stage and deciding to blow raspberries at Trump.

I mean, who needs enemies with friends like these in the GOP, am I right?

The Hill confirms Hurd was a former CIA agent:

Hurd wrapped up his remarks moments later and exited the stage to a mix of applause and boos.

The former congressman, who served three terms in the House and spent several years working at the CIA, has been sharply critical of Trump and argued the former president is unfit for another term in the White House.

Hurd has argued Trump is merely running for president to avoid jail time in the wake of additional charges being filed by federal prosecutors over Trump’s handling of classified documents.

No wonder he was met with a chorus of boos when he exited the stage.

Perhaps next time, instead of playing James Bond and trying to stir up trouble, Hurd might focus on the real problems facing our nation.

But, hey, that’s just me.

What do I know?

I’m just a regular Joe who thinks unity in the GOP might be more important than personal grandstanding.

Call me old fashioned.

Or, you know, sane.

Either works.
