MTG Gets SWATTED On Christmas

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia was swatted by police on Christmas after authorities received a false report a murder took place inside Greene’s home.

Shortly after noon, 911 dispatchers received a call from an individual who claimed to have shot his girlfriend and threatened to kill himself.

The individual making the false police report then proceeded to give MTG’s address to the 911 dispatcher, which resulted in a swat team response.

In a post on X, Greene wrote, “I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here. My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this.”

Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene received an unwelcome Christmas surprise Monday — with cops getting called to the Georgia Republican’s home in the latest incident of “swatting” harassment against her.

A spokesperson for the Rome Police Department confirmed to The Post that the 911 dispatch center received an emergency call to Greene’s address shortly before noon.

An individual called a suicide hotline claiming to have shot his girlfriend and threatened to kill himself, according to police.

“Our team in their response … coordinated with her security detail and it was determined that there was no emergency and that she was safe,” the spokesperson explained. “Our response was actually canceled en route.”

“I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time,” Greene posted on X. “On Christmas with my family here. My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this.

Swatted is a term used to describe being victim to a false report of a crime at your address, which prompts police to show up at your home.

“I was just swatted,” Greene wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday morning. “This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here.”

“My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this. I appreciate them so much and my family and I are in joyous spirits celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!” Greene wrote.
