After Many Rumors, President Trump Confirms His Plans For The Fourth GOP Debate

Share

I know what many of you are thinking after reading that headline…

A FOURTH Debate?

Why?

I think that’s what most of America is thinking.

It’s the strangest thing I’ve seen….JV Debates by people who have virtually no chance of winning the nomination, all shouting over each other and trying desperately to deliver some “zinger” that gets picked up for 5 minutes in the news.

So lame.

So cringe.

And I don’t ever remember having more than three debates, but in this case they suddenly think we need FOUR of these things?

Will there be a FIFTH?

What nonsense!

Eagles soar above the fray, and President Trump has wisely decided to not participate in this garbage — at least for the first three debates.

Speculation had been running wild that President Trump may change course and attend the Fourth Debate.

I think Meg Kelly actually hit the nail on the head when she said the only reason that happens is if he just decides he wants to “have some fun”:

Well said.

But it turns out President Trump is full up in the entertainment department and does not seem to see a need to hang out with the JV for “kicks and giggles”.

New reports out this morning confirm he will NOT be attending this Fourth Debate, just as he skipped the first three with alternate programming.

From Newsmax, here is more:

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to attend a private fundraiser in Florida next week during the fourth Republican presidential primary debate, a source familiar with the plans confirmed to The Hill.

The former president and his campaign aides said he would not attend the Dec. 6 debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, hosted by NewsNation.

Trump has yet to contest any of the primary debates, citing his dominant lead in the polls. The latest Morning Consult tracking poll has Trump with a 50-point lead over his nearest competitors in the GOP primary field, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Trump’s fundraiser next week in Hallandale Beach, Florida, which was dubbed in a campaign email as a “year-end reception,” will mark the first time the former president has not attempted to counter-program the debate to draw attention away from his rivals, The Hill noted.

During previous Republican primary debates this year, Trump has been interviewed by former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Twitter, addressed striking UAW workers in Michigan, and held a rally in Miami, close to the venue of the third primary debate.

Trump and his team have urged the Republican National Committee (RNC) to cancel future debates, arguing the party should coalesce behind him as the presumptive nominee given his big lead in the polls. The former president leads his rivals in national polls and by at least 20 points in most state level polls, The Hill reported.

This is so true:

Just another clown show indeed!

In fact, according to Five Thirty Eight polling averages, Chris Christie, Vivek Ramaswamy, Doug Burgum, and Asa Hutchinson are all failing to clear the six percent national threshold and may be GONE.

I don’t fully trust him and I still get Obama 2.0 vibes, and he’s far, far below Donald Trump and Kari Lake on my list of priorities, but Vivek is the only person on that list who I would not refer to as a “clown”.

Not sure I fully trust him, but he’s not a clown.

What do you think?
