Trump DOJ Uncovers Bombshell FBI Data Exposing True Extent Of J6 Weaponization

The Justice Department under President Donald Trump has obtained internal FBI records revealing the startling extent of the Bureau’s involvement in January 6 investigations. FBI officials have handed over data on thousands of employees involved in January 6-related probes—an unprecedented move that has rattled Bureau personnel.

The disclosure comes amid mounting pressure on the FBI to answer for its handling of January 6 cases, as Republicans have accused the agency of conducting politically motivated prosecutions while ignoring alleged misconduct from left-wing agitators and federal informants.

The details of over 5,000 agency employees, encompassing ID numbers, job titles, and their involvement in the January 6 investigations, were disclosed to the DOJ, according to CNN. The FBI has just over 13,000 agents and 38,000 total employees on its payroll.

In a memo titled “Terminations” sent on Friday, Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove set a Tuesday noon deadline for FBI officials to provide the details of thousands of agents and analysts, sources told the outlet. Bove had previously directed the dismissal of eight senior FBI officials responsible for overseeing cyber, national security, and criminal investigations.

Officials appointed by Elon Musk were also spotted Tuesday at the FBI headquarters, where he led initiatives for President Donald Trump’s newly established Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE.

Multiple FBI employees have filed a lawsuit against the Justice Department, claiming it breached the Constitution and privacy statutes by requiring agents to fill out a survey purportedly aimed at “purging” bureau staff. The agents are seeking a federal judge’s intervention to prevent the Trump administration from disclosing the surveys or any details from their responses.

“The very act of compiling lists of persons who worked on matters that upset Donald Trump is retaliatory in nature, intended to intimidate FBI agents and other personnel, and to discourage them from reporting any future malfeasance by Donald Trump and his agents,” the lawsuit alleges.

The FBI recently sent thousands of employees a questionnaire about their involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol breach investigations.

Kash Patel, Trump’s nominee for FBI director, has indicated a shift in bureau culture, promising during his Senate hearing that there would be no political retribution against agents for their assigned cases.

The Justice Department’s internal policies are facing renewed attention after Acting Deputy Attorney General Bove issued a memorandum outlining a review process for FBI personnel. The move follows the dismissal of eight senior officials and appears to align with earlier testimony from Patel.

Tensions reportedly escalated after President Trump issued a sweeping pardon for individuals convicted in connection with the Capitol breach. In the days that followed, more than a dozen officials involved in criminal investigations related to Trump were dismissed.

The situation has added to internal divisions within the bureau as officials explore legal options and brace for further personnel changes.
