President Trump Scores HUGE Victory For Free Speech – New Ruling On Gag Order

Share

President Trump scored a massive victory in his court case against the Obama-appointed Judge Tanya Chutkan.

Judge Chutkan has agreed to pause her gag order against President Trump.

The initial gag order would have prevented President Trump, who is running for the 2024 election, from speaking freely.

While the court case is still raging, this is a massive team for President Trump and his team.

More from ABC News:

The federal judge overseeing former President Donald Trump’s election interference case in Washington, D.C., on Friday temporarily halted the limited gag order she had placed on the former president on Monday.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan requested briefings from the government and from Trump’s lawyers following Trump’s appeal of her order earlier Friday.

In her order on Monday, Chutkan ruled that Trump is prohibited from making or reposting statements “publicly targeting” special counsel Jack Smith and his staff, as well as Chutkan’s staff and the staff of other D.C. district court personnel.

She additionally barred him from making statements about potential witnesses in the case and the substance of their potential testimony.

The decision appeared to place a court-ordered restriction on much of the rhetoric that is central to Trump’s campaign to regain the White House in 2024.

I find it interesting how wins for President Trump are tough to come across in the news.

President Trump supporters have taken to X to voice their happiness over the news:

However, this isn’t the only news regarding President Trump’s gag order.

As you may know, he is also fighting a battle in the New York court system.

Just the other day, Judge Engoron threatened President Trump with a fine and jail time if he continued to break the gag order.

More on that story from the folks over at Fox News:

A New York judge fined former President Trump $5,000 for violating the partial gag order he imposed in the civil trial stemming from New York Attorney General Letitia James’ investigation into the Trump family’s businesses, while warning the 2024 frontrunner that future violations could result in imprisonment.

Judge Arthur Engoron, earlier this month, imposed a partial gag order to prevent all parties from engaging in any verbal attacks against court staff after Trump criticized a member of the judge’s office on social media.

“On October 3, during a break in this trial, defendant Donald Trump posted to his social media account an untrue, disparaging, and personally identifying post about my Principal Law Clerk,” Engoron wrote in a filing Friday, adding that he ordered Trump to remove the post “immediately.”

These crooked Judges love the publicity of trying President Trump.

Regardless of how these indictments turn out, I’m sure they already have multi-million dollar book deals set up.

Stay strong and keep supporting President Trump through all of this.
