Speaker Mike Johnson Reportedly In Trouble, The Next Speaker To Be OUSTED?

Share

Speaker Mike Johnson is shaping up to be an awful disappointment, I don’t want to say I told you so, but here we are.

To be fair, Johnson has done some good by beginning the process of revealing the January 6th tapes to the public and helping to formalize the Biden impeachment inquiry.

This is definitely more than I can say for former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, but is it really enough?

Mike Johnson has now voted for everything from an $886 billion ‘defense’ bill that funds foreign nations and fuels endless conflict abroad to extending the FISA surveillance program.

From where I am standing, Johnson doesn’t appear to be very MAGA or America First at all, he is just another RINO.

Unfortunately for Johnson, but not for MAGA patriots, pro-establishment stances have not gone unnoticed by his colleagues.

The House Freedom Caucus is reportedly furious with Johnson for his abandonment of the America First agenda

73 members of the right-wing caucus have voiced staunch opposition to his continued war funding and ignoring the crisis at our Southern Border.

Lawmakers have gone home for the holidays, but this pressure is likely to only grow with time and a new report from Bloomberg indicates that the Speaker may be in trouble of losing his job next year if he doesn’t shape up.

Take a look at these reactions from the conservative community and tell me that the Speaker isn’t in trouble of losing his job just like McCarthy:

Shadow of Ezra, a popular conservative influencer account, asked: “Should Speaker Mike Johnson be removed from his position?”

Bloomberg opened up their recent piece with this:

House Speaker Mike Johnson is ending 2023 with an ominous preview of what to expect in the new year: dissension in his ranks that threatens to hamstring deals on US government funding, Ukraine war aid and border policy.

It could also cost him his job.

Laura Loomer presented the voting records for the NDAA and stated:

“Your new Speaker of the House Speaker Johnson, Mike Johnson, and 146 other Republicans in Congress just passed the NDAA, which authorizes $600 million more to Ukraine.

Time to remove MAGA from “MAGA Mike’s” nickname. He was never MAGA to begin with. Here’s the text from the bill and the list of names of the 147 GOP reps who voted for this today.”

Newsweek featured this related story:

A photo of Ryan and Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, began circulating on social media Wednesday, triggering an uproar by Trump supporters.

The photo shows Ryan and Johnson with their heads down as they descend a staircase in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
