Trump Delivers Shocking Memorial Day Message for His Enemies
President Donald Trump isn’t letting Memorial Day pass without sending best wishes to some of the Deep State officials attempting to take him down.
The former president on Monday issued a scathing post on Truth Social where he wished a “Happy Memorial Day” to Biden Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith as well as the Democratic prosecutor and judge in his Manhattan trial.
“Happy Memorial Day to All, including the Human Scum that is working so hard to destroy our Once Great Country, & to the Radical Left, Trump Hating Federal Judge in New York that presided over, get this, TWO separate trials, that awarded a woman, who I never met before (a quick handshake at a celebrity event, 25 years ago, doesn’t count!), 91 MILLION DOLLARS for “DEFAMATION,” Trump added in reference to the landmark judgment for E. Jean Carroll.
Going on, Trump alleged that Carroll’s claim of rape and successful civil suit was marred by the dropping of criminal charges by a jury. He also pointed out Carroll “sung my praises” during an earlier CNN interview but later “changed her tune” when her case went to appeal.
State judges Arthur Engoron and Juan Merchan were similarly singled out handling cases against Trump that he claimed are politically motivated.
“Or Arthur Engoron, the N.Y. State Wacko Judge who fined me almost 500 Million Dollars (UNDER APPEAL) for DOING NOTHING WRONG, used a Statute that has never been used before, gave me NO JURY, Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000 – Now for Merchan!” Trump concluded.
The post indicates that the ongoing hush money trial still weighs heavily on Trump despite predictions from legal pundits that he will beat the charges. Judge Merchan, who has been under fire for allegedly benefitting from her daughter’s political consultation for major Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, has served as a regular foil for Trump throughout the trial and is exempt from a gag order preventing the former president from attacking witnesses and and other court officers and their families.
Engoron, who oversaw Trump’s real estate case, was roundly condemned by Trump supporters for berating him over complaining in court and posting about the perceived unfair prosecution.
Together, the cabal of anti-Trump legal officials has helped muddy the waters around Trump’s criminal prosecutions to the point that voters are not reacting to the near-daily developments in his hush money case. New polls show Trump leading President Joe Biden in nearly ever major swing state, with voters giving the Republican higher marks on handling the economy and even protecting democracy.
