Michigan Football Fans Relentlessly Boo Tim Walz: ‘Get Out Of Here!’

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was on the receiving end of some loud views from Michigan football fans when he turned up at the Minnesota-Michigan college football game on Saturday.

As Walz was making his way into “The Big House” in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a large group of Michigan fans and students erupted into loud boos and jeers. One fan could be heard yelling “get out of here” while another referred to the Minnesota governor as a communist.

There was a stunning lack of cheers for Walz, even though there was a significant number of people waiting to get inside the stadium when he motorcade pulled up. There was also a noticeably muted reaction when the Minnesota governor and proceeded to flail up and down it, something he described as a “religious experience.”

While Walz was hardly recognized in Michigan, former President Donald Trump received an enthusiastic reaction from the 100,000-strong crowd in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the highly anticipated Alabama-Georgia game.

The former president arrived midway through the first quarter and was immediately greeted by a large group of students and fans who packed in around both sides of the former president’s entrance point. Trump then took time to mingle with supporters and toss hats, popcorn and other objects into the crowd.

Once the Republican nominee found his seat towards the end of the first quarter, the crowd went wild, with many erupting into cheers of “USA” and “Four More Years!”

The Harris-Walz Campaign had claimed they would be trolling the former president by flying a blimp over the stadium with an ad accusing him of ducking a second presidential debate. The plan failed miserably, however, and was scrapped altogether due to weather concerns.
