Bill Clinton Gets Confused For Joe Biden During Disastrous Campaign Stop At McDonald’s

During a recent visit to a Georgia McDonald’s aimed at drumming up support for the Harris campaign, former President Bill Clinton was confused for President Joe Biden in an embarrassing moment.

A woman manning the cash register confused Clinton, 78, for the 81-year-old Biden while the latter attempted to establish his everyman credentials during a lunch break. Clinton was campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris in the swing state, according to a clip of the interaction released by a pro-Harris account on X. “You Joe?” the stunned worker asked Clinton after confusing him for Biden. After being corrected, she exclaimed “Bill!” and ran around the counter to hug Clinton and asked for a picture.

To make matters work, according to the Daily Mail, the “Kamala Wins” account referred to the former president as “Bull Clinton” in a post, prompting widespread mockery from conservative critics. “BREAKING: Bull (sic) Clinton is at a McDonalds in Georgia encouraging voters to support Kamala Harris. It’s all hands on deck in the last couple of weeks,” the Kamala Wins X account wrote with the video. “Retweet to make sure all Americans see this incredible moment,” it added, though the author may have gotten more than they wished for.

“Bull Clinton? Yes he is full of bull****,” one critic replied. Another caustically added, “It makes sense, I am sure he and Doug [Emhoff] have a lot of stories to share about f****** their employees.” Others predicted that President Clinton’s haphazard visit to Georgia may pay off. “That sounds like a significant event! Bill Clinton’s presence could really energize voters. It’s interesting to see high-profile figures actively campaigning,” they wrote.

Until recently, Vice President Harris was largely allowed to skate through life on a resumé that claimed she worked at McDonald’s while attending law school. Since launching her 2019 presidential campaign, the Democrat has often mentioned that working for the world’s most recognizable fast-food brand was her first job after her freshman year in college. “I did fries,” she recently admitted on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” adding, “and then I did the cashier.” The Washington Free Beacon scoured Harris’s past public statements on her work history and pinpointed the first time she mentioned a summer job at McDonald’s during a labor rally in Las Vegas that year. “I was working in a McDonald’s,” she told the enthusiastic crowd. Mainstream media outlets like the New York Times dutifully reported, without attribution, that Harris “return[ed] to the Bay Area for a summer during college when she worked at a McDonald’s in Alameda, a city next to Oakland.”

An unredacted copy of her job application for a position in the Alameda County district attorney’s office told another story. Her employment history went into granular detail, even listing a month-long position at a stock brokerage, as the application required her to list every job she ever held over the past 10 years. There was no mention of McDonald’s.
