BREAKING: Rudy Giuliani Suffers Legal Defeat, Forced To Pay Insane Fine
What is this, the Soviet Union? Alex Jones was ordered to pay a staggering $1 billion in fines because he said something some people didn’t like.
Whether or not you agree with Jones’ comments on Sandy Hook, a $1 billion fine is beyond absurdity. We don’t even fine murderers or rapists $1 billion for their crimes.
Well, yet another prominent voice in the MAGA movement has been slapped with a similarly absurd fine, not nearly as absurd as Jones, but the theme is the same.
A Washington D.C. jury ordered Rudy Giuliani to pay $148 million to two Georgia election workers that he allegedly defamed.
Following the insane verdict, Rudy Giuliani remarked: “The absurdity of the amount is indicative of the absurdity and unfairness of the entire proceeding. It bore no resemblance to a trial in a country with the rule of law. I wasn’t able to offer any evidence in my defense. We’ll have more to say and look forward to the appeal.”

CBS News outlined the absurd fine:
Freeman sought compensatory damages of $23.9 million for defamation, while Moss was asking for $24.7 million.
The jury awarded the following:
$16,171,000 to Freeman in compensatory damages for defamation.
$16,998,000 for Moss in compensatory damages for defamation.
$20 million each, or $40 million total, in compensatory damages for emotional distress.
$75 million in punitive damages for both.
The MAGA community was outraged by the ruling and some brought up that a similarly absurd fine was levied against InfoWars host and founder Alex Jones.
Free Speech has a cost
Alex Jones: $1 billion
Tucker Carlson and FOX: $787.5 million
Rudy Giuliani: $148 million for wanting to ensure fair elections

The Rudy Giuliani “verdict” is ridiculous and unconstitutional of course.
You can’t defame election workers serving in their official capacity as “state actors.”
You can’t defame the government or its employees.

They’re trying to destroy @RudyGiuliani’s life through litigation, merely for having the courage to say what’s true, much like they did to @RealAlexJones and @RogerJStoneJr. Absolutely disgusting. pic.twitter.com/9l9tEb0Jul

.@RudyGiuliani was America’s favorite Mayor during and after 9/11. But because “orange man bad” leftists have turned on him. Its disgusting.
There is so much proof of election fraud in GA. This ruling against Giuliani is outrageous. Our legal system is so biased and corrupt.

CNBC claimed:
Giuliani had said at a Georgia Senate hearing after the 2020 election that Freeman and Moss at a ballot counting location had passed each other USB flash drives like “vials of heroin or cocaine” as part of a scheme to defraud Trump of an election win.
Moss later testified to Congress that she and her mother were passing candy.
