WATCH LIVE: Biden, Trump set for Atlanta showdown
Joe Biden and President Donald Trump will face off on CNN Thursday for the first time since the last presidential debate in 2020.
Unlike previous debates, the candidate who is not recognized to speak will have his microphone turned off. Moreover, there will be no studio audience.
The presumptive Republican nominee will likely hammer the commander-in-chief over the economy, specifically the increase of the cost of living and immigration regarding the increase of undocumented migrants. Meanwhile, Biden is expected to use Trump’s recent criminal conviction in Manhattan against him, as well as the former president’s attempt to subvert the 2020 election.
The first 2024 presidential debate will take place in the swing state of Georgia and will moderated by CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. The program is set to start at 9 p.m. EDT.
