WATCH: STEVE FORBES DROPS A BOMBSHELL, SAYS BIDEN WON’T BE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY NOMINEE FOR 2024
On Friday, Forbes Media Chairman Steve Forbes stated that he does not believe that current President Joe Biden will be the Democratic Party nominee in the 2024 race, noting all the different aspects of the failing Biden administration.
The media giant’s chairman appeared on Fox’s ‘America’s Newsroom’ discussing the massively negative reception of the economy under President Biden. Forbes referred to the Biden economy as “the economic version of walking pneumonia.”
“I think there is economy fatigue, one thing after another. So, inflation has come down a little bit. Prices are still going up. Wages aren’t going up fast enough,” the chairman said. “There’s a feeling the country is adrift. These whole negotiations on the debt ceiling, my goodness! They can’t control spending even though it’s $2 trillion higher than it was a couple of years ago. People just throw up their hands and say these people are out of control.”
The Fox News host then noted a statistic that 48 percent of Americans believe that the economic policies of the Biden administration are hurting them, stating that numbers like those would make his 2024 run much harder.
Forbes then dropped a bombshell, saying, “I think that’s why next year, Joe Biden will not be the Democratic Party nominee.” This statement stunned the anchors, causing co-host Bill Hemmer to point out that Forbes is making this statement on record.
“On record. Because the economy — yeah, they can sweep the Hunter stuff away — but that has a stench out there,” the media chairman added. “So you have a poor economy, you have a president people feel is not up to the job anymore, certainly not for the next four years. So I don’t know what the scenario is going to be, but they cannot have him running in November of 2024.”
The other co-host, Jacqui Heinrich, asked Forbes who he believed the Democratic Party nominee could be if not Joe Biden. Forbes noted that different scenarios could play out, reminiscing on the 2020 election where Bernie Sanders made a strong attempt at the nomination before being shut out by Biden. Forbes also mentioned both the California and Michigan governors seeing blood in the water and jumping on the opportunity.
The chairman also noted the immense success the Republican Party has been seeing, stating that the party is “developing ideas, [has a] lot of new faces” in comparison to the Democratic Party.
A notable name not mentioned for the Democratic Party nominee is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who has been rising in the polls against Biden in reccent weeks with him recently tying with the incumbent president.
Forbes is one of the first to make the big claim that Biden won’t go for another four years in the White House but he’s definitely not the first to feel it. Biden’s popularity has been falling rapidly as his declining mental sharpness and numerous scandals begin to take focus with voters. It’s hard to imagine him as president until the end of 2024, much less for another four years after that.
