Trump DESTROYS Robert De Niro For Failed Press Conference In Hilarious Post
President Donald Trump isn’t letting Robert De Niro have the last word after the actor stumped for President Joe Biden outside of a Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday.
Posting on Truth Social, the former president accused the 80-year-old Oscar winner of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” after delivering a lengthy screed against him that was largely drowned out by car alarms, a helicopter, and MAGA hecklers.
“I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, Wacko Former Actor Robert De Niro was,” Trump wrote according to The Hill. “Today, De Niro, who suffers from an incurable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, was met, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left – MAGA.”
De Niro, who was joined by former Capitol Police officers Harry Dunn and Michael Fanone, appeared on behalf of the Biden campaign, which recently launched a new series of ads intended to warn about the threat to democracy posed by Trump. Dunn, whose recounting of the January 6th, 2021 riots was called into question after he claimed rioters yelled racial slurs, lost badly in the Maryland 3rd congressional district Democratic primary election earlier this month.
“Do we want him running this country,” the actor said in his remarks, “and saying, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m dictator for life’?” After declaring the former president a “tyrant,” De Niro verbally sparred with a MAGA agitator who yelled out “You’re washed up, De Niro!”
“You’re gangsters!” the actor shouted back at the Trump supporters. The protestor, wearing a MAGA hat, refused to relent. “You’re trash. Your movies suck. You’re done!” he shot back. A large contingent of protestors followed the actor as his phalanx of security guards and aides escorted him away from the event. Chants of “We love Trump” and “Juan Merchan is corrupt” followed De Niro to his car.
The Biden campaign acknowledged authorizing the “guerrilla-style” presser, according to Politico, but said that its strategy around Trump’s trial remains unchanged. However, aides pledged to remain “nimble and creative” according to one person with knowledge of their next moves, as Democrats plot how to saddle Trump with further negative news around his ongoing hush money trial.
Jurors have begun deliberating on the former president’s fate, with a decision expected to arrive as soon as this week. President Biden’s team has promised to label his Republican foe as a “convicted felon” if Trump is found guilty, the outlet previously added, but has privately expressed frustration that his ongoing criminal trials have failed to dent his rise in the polls. Focus groups have revealed that, rather than dissuading swing state voters, Trump’s cases have caused some to find agreement with his accusations of a rigged justice system. If Trump is acquitted, he is expected to cast the win as a decisive indictment of a politicized justice system wielded by Biden and the Department of Justice in lieu of beating him at the ballot box in November.
