President Trump Issues Major Plea To DeSantis

President Trump just issued a major plea to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Get out—get out now, the 45th President advised DeSantis to get out of the 2024 Presidential race.

“I think he has to get out for the good of the party. He could have waited, and he would have been odds-on favorite for ’28, but he didn’t do that. I got him elected. If it weren’t for me, he wouldn’t be governor; he’d be working in a law office right now or doing whatever he was going to do,” Trump recently stated.

The former President was far from the only one calling for DeSantis to drop out:

Speaker McCarthy recently told Maria Bartiromo: “President Trump is stronger today than he was in 2016 or 2020… I served with Ron DeSantis, he’s not at the same level.. by any shape or form.”

Daily Mail reports that the Oil and Gas Workers Association has formally endorsed President Trump:

‘Governor DeSantis says a lot of the right things, right, but his track record isn’t there,’ Oil and Gas Workers Association President Matt Coday told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.

He cited Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, his decision to exit the Iran nuclear deal, and the former president’s work to save American oil and gas jobs as the reason for the endorsement.

DeSantis recently appeared on Fox News to explain why President Trump shouldn’t be the GOP frontrunner in 2024.

The latest polling data shows President Trump as the clear favorite for the 2024 GOP nomination—DeSantis isn’t even beating other second-tier candidates.

Washington Examiner shared the results of one of the latest polls:

The straw poll showed Trump with 63.9% and DeSantis with 27.3%, less than a day after both Florida men addressed the summit from the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C.
