(WATCH) Fox News Host Caught On Hot Mic Calling GOP Legislator A “Dumb***”

Share

While the House of Representatives conducted a House Floor vote for Speaker, Fox News host Brian Kilmeade appeared to call Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) a dumb*** on live air.

Bacon cast his House Speaker vote for Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Kilmeade was heard saying dumb*** off camera after Bacon announced his vote.

Just the News noted:

Jordan ultimately failed to secure the speaker’s gavel on the first round of voting and the chamber recessed after the final tally. A second vote is expected Tuesday.

Kilmeade is a weekdays co-host of “Fox & Friends” and the host of “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade” on Saturdays.

Bacon is one of 20 Republicans who did not support Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) for House Speaker.

From our prior report:

It does not seem to be the MAGA crowd, with many voting for McCarthy.

And while I’m not convinced that Jim Jordan is ultimately the best choice, he may be the best we have available.

The reason I’m not convinced he’s the best choice is two-fold.

One, I see Tweets like this laying out what a Jim Jordan Speakership will look like:

I’m pro-Israel and anti-Hamas (of course) but do I want a pro-war Honk in the Speakership?

I would sure love to see America stay OUT of all wars and stop sending our tax dollars overseas by the Billions.

Who is the Speaker candidate that will cut off the purse strings?

That’s the guy I want to vote for.

It’s yet another reason why I am calling for Donald Trump as Speaker.

That’s not a dead idea yet.

Imagine 20 more rounds of Jim Jordan voting and no progress.

Could we end up back at Trump?

It’s very possible.

Or how about 17 total rounds?

There’s that number again….

Kudos to this woman calling in to C-SPAN to mention how they fell “17” votes short.

People are getting red-pilled all over the place!

Is Jim Jordan just “McCarthy-lite”?

Heck, McCarthy himself was “McCarthy-lite”.

I’m tired of the people that bark a big bark, but then have no bite.

No investigations…

No subpoenas….

But plenty of time to send our money overseas.

What kind of Speaker would Jim Jordan be?

What kind of Speaker would TRUMP be?

Plus, how much money would you pay to see this?

Come on folks, that’s worth the price of admission right there!

There are rumors more GOP representatives will vote against Jordan in the 2nd round of voting.

Axios reports:

20 of Jordan’s Republican colleagues voted for other candidates, including seven for House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.), six for former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and three for former Rep. Lee Zeldin.

Many of the lawmakers who voted against Jordan are moderates from swing districts who could be seriously hurt by his brand, while others are McCarthy and Scalise allies aggrieved at the events of recent weeks.

Some of Jordan’s detractors signaled flexibility and previewed plans to talk with him before the next vote – but others suggested they are firmly against him.

“The millisecond anybody tries to intimidate me is the moment I no longer have flexibility,” said Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.), who voted for Scalise. “I have no intention of moving.”

Rep. Anthony D’Esposito (R-N.Y.), a Biden-district Republican who voted for Zeldin, said in a statement, “I want a Speaker who understands Long Island’s unique needs … I look forward to discussions with candidates.”

“I’m talking with Jim Jordan right now, we’re going to work it out,” said Rep. John James (R-Mich.), another Biden-district Republican who voted for Cole.
