1980s TV Star John Schneider Tells Biden: “I Believe You Are Guilty Of Treason And Should Be Publicly Hung. Your Son Too’

I mean, he’s not wrong. We are a nation of laws and our laws are incredibly clear and detailed on this point.

Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider had some choice words for Joe Biden in an online post he made in response to anti-Trump propaganda posted by the Resident-in-Chief.

The 1980s television star told Biden: “I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son too.” Very, very pointed words indeed!

Unfortunately, the Secret Service took this as a threat and opened up an investigation into Schneider, but to be very clear Schneider wasn’t issuing threats.

Schneider was pointing out the very clear, very known consequences, of breaking our laws and betraying the country. He was calling for a trial and the subsequent punishment laid out in our laws.

He didn’t outright say this, but it is clear and disingenuous to pretend that this wasn’t what he meant—just read his post.

Is it illegal to call for trial and punishment now? Do we not have a Constitution? Recall that leftists said much worse things against President Trump—like issue actual threats that they were going to kill him or blow up the White House.

Nothing was done when these obviously pointed threats were made to the 45th President, yet now the Secret Service is investigating Schneider for talking candidly about crime and punishment in our society.

The New York Post reached out to Schneider for comment, here’s what he had to say:

“Seriously, folks? This is my final comment on this. I neither said nor implied any such thing.

Despite headlines claiming otherwise, in my post, I absolutely did not call for an act of violence or threaten a U.S. president as many other celebrities have done in the past.

I suggest you re-read my actual post and pay attention to the words before believing this nonsense.”

New York Daily News confirmed the involvement of the Secret Service in investigating Schneider: “Secret Service investigating ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider after Biden death threats. The actor became a potential menace with a reply to a Biden post on X that said the president “should be publicly hung.”

Breitbart noted:

A report in 2017 from the left-wing Mashable found more than 12,000 tweets calling for Trump’s assassination.

The report ran just several days after Trump’s inauguration. It remains unclear if anyone was held accountable for those tweets.
