WATCH: Ted Cruz Calls For Biden’s IMPEACHMENT After Explosive Revelations Over Bribery Scandal

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) hinted that President Joe Biden committed an impeachable offense Wednesday night in the wake of new information relating to the president’s bribery scandal.

Speaking to Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Wednesday night, Hannity asked the senator whether or not the accusations made against President Biden would be considered a high crime and misdemeanor, which is an impeachable offense.

“It absolutely would,” Cruz begins. “In fact, it doesn’t have to be a high crime or misdemeanor because the Constitution specifies that impeachment lies for treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. Bribery is explicitly noted in the Constitution.”

“And I got to say,” the Senator continued, “The evidence not only against Hunter Biden but the evidence against Joe Biden being complicit and profiting from this corruption is growing and growing and growing,” adding that it could be quite evident if the Justice Department chooses not to go after Biden, “If they [The Justice Department] focus on individual crimes to Hunter and they seal off what makes this a matter of public concern. Which is the connection to Joe Biden, the millions Hunter made selling access to [Joe Biden] when he was vice president.”

America First Legal tweeted on Wednesday that information gained through their lawsuit with the National Archives revealed: “Further evidence that Hunter Biden’s personal business activities comingled with Joe Biden’s official business, beginning in Vice President Biden’s first year in the White House.”

Congressional Republicans have put the president and his son Hunter under the microscope for what they believe to be multiple instances of influence peddling (Using the Biden name to get different deals) by Hunter Biden while President Biden was vice president. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Representative James Comer (R-KY) asked the FBI to produce an unclassified record “Alleging a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.”

Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution states that “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
