WATCH: Vivek Presents Concerning Theory About Who Is Really Behind The 14th Amendment Challenges

I have accused Vivek Ramaswamy of being a RINO in MAGA clothing before, but perhaps I was too hasty with my criticisms of Ramaswamy.

He has said a lot of things I like in off-handed conversations that were not highly publicized. I think he is sincere in his beliefs and his loathing of the deep state. Ramaswamy might be the real deal.

The Presidential hopeful has been putting forward a concerning theory and there is some truth to what he says, but I fear that the American people have incredibly short memories.

Remember when President Trump was actually in office, pre-Covid? He was facing strong attacks from within the GOP.

In fact, some of the strongest attacks and rhetoric against Trump came from figures within the GOP; there was always this strong tension between him and the party.

Vivek correctly points out that it may not just be Democrats and leftists that are leading the 14th Amendment charge against President Trump—it may be the GOP establishment as well.

Again, this wouldn’t be the first time the GOP establishment actively plotted against Trump, and it likely won’t be the last.

It is a sad fact of life that Donald Trump must run within the confines of the GOP. He could start a third party and played around with the idea years ago, but ultimately decided against it because he did not want to ‘split’ the vote.

Moreover, if you think President Trump has ballot access problems now, imagine the ballot access problems he would have running as an independent, third-party candidate.

Still, President Trump has teamed up with a party of snakes. This might be out of necessity, but it doesn’t change the situation. I am certain he knows, but he cannot let his guard down against these people. Vivek explained:

Vivek Ramaswamy posted this lengthy response following the insane decision from Colorado’s Supreme Court:

“This is what an *actual* attack on democracy looks like in an un-American, unconstitutional, and *unprecedented* decision, a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado.

Having tried every trick in the book to eliminate President Trump from running in this election, the bipartisan Establishment is now deploying a new tactic to bar him from ever holding office again: the 14th Amendment.

I pledge to *withdraw* from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately – or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country.

Today’s decision is the latest election interference tactic to silence political opponents and swing the election for whatever puppet the Democrats put up this time by depriving Americans of the right to vote for their candidate of choice.

The 14th Amendment was part of the “Reconstruction Amendments” that were ratified following the Civil War. It was passed to prohibit former Confederate military and political leaders from holding high federal or state office.

These men had clearly taken part in a rebellion against the United States: the Civil War. That makes it all the more absurd that a left-wing group in Colorado is asking a federal court to disqualify the 45th President on the same grounds, equating his speech to rebellion against the United States.

And there’s another legal problem: Trump is not a former “officer of the United States,” as that term is used in the Constitution, meaning Section 3 does not apply.

As the Supreme Court explained in Free Enterprise Fund v. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (2010), an “officer of the United States” is someone appointed by the President to aid him in his duties under Article II, Section 2. The term does not apply to elected officials, and certainly not to the President himself.

The Framers of the 14th Amendment would be appalled to see this narrow provision—intended to bar former U.S. officials who switched to the Confederacy from seeking public office—being weaponized by a sitting President and his political allies to prevent a former President from seeking reelection. Our country is becoming unrecognizable to our Founding Fathers.”

The Independent provided this statement Ramaswamy made to Fox News regarding Maine’s decision to kick President Trump off the ballot:

“This is not an action of one person. This is the action of an entire system that has an anaphalactic reaction to one man,” he said.

“I’m concerned that they will not allow this man to get anywhere near the start line of the election, let alone the finish line… this is not how we should want to win.”

Here are more poignant warnings from Vivek to the American people drawing attention to the deep state and their banana republic tactics.

eanwhile, The Associated Press shared this related story:

Americans for Prosperity, the political arm of the powerful Koch network, formally endorsed Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign on Tuesday, promising to commit its nationwide coalition of activists — and virtually unlimited funds — to helping Haley defeat former President Donald Trump in the GOP primary contest.
