BREAKING: Democrat Endorsed by Hillary Clinton Loses Mayoral Race In a LANDSLIDE
This just in: Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee – who was endorsed by Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi – has just lost the Houston mayoral race in a major landslide!
In a special runoff election, Sheila Jackson Lee, who has represented Houston in Congress for the past 28 years, ran against Texas State Senator John Whitmire, also a Democrat.
And she got absolutely pummeled.

The results of the election were not close in the slightest, with Whitmire getting 64.4% of the vote and Jackson only getting 35.6%

Back in October, Hillary proudly announced her endorsement of Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee.

Also in October, leaked audio surfaced of Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee using foul and abusive language while berating a staffer.
She can be heard saying, “I want you to have a f***n brain.” “Both of y’all f*** ups!” “F***in idiots, serve no G**Damn purpose!”

Texas state Sen. John Whitmire is projected to be Houston’s next mayor after beating his opponent, U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, in a special runoff election on Saturday.
Whitmire inherits a city facing many challenges, including crime, crumbling infrastructure, and potential budget shortfalls. But despite these issues, booming growth over the last decade has turned the nation’s fourth-largest city into an expanding stronghold for Texas Democrats.
Jackson Lee and Whitmire, both Democrats, made it to Saturday’s runoff after breezing past a crowded field of nearly 20 candidates in the Nov. 7 general election.
Jackson Lee, 73, has represented Houston in Congress since 1995. Before that, she served on Houston’s City Council.

Jackson Lee, who has represented Houston in the House since 1995, received endorsements from Turner, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. However, she faced a slew of troubles heading into the runoff, including Whitmire’s aggressive spending in relation to hers and recent controversy surrounding her treatment of staff members.
Whitmire also received more votes than Jackson Lee in the Nov. 7 election, although neither candidate earned a majority, which forced the runoff election.
